There is no cost to you when you develop your project using any of the BUNI APIs in the sandbox. Refer to the published KCB Bank Tariff for standard charges where transaction fees are applicable in production.

When you have completed testing in the sandbox and are ready to request credentials for the production environment, submit an email request to [email protected]

Yes, the customer or business consuming the published APIs must have a KCB or VOOMA account to enable the integration in production. But, this is not required for you to browse our API catalogue or build your project in the sandbox.

KYC documents provided by the customer or business during the KCB/VOOMA account opening process are sufficient.

No, all the data in our sandboxes is test data and does not contain any real customer or legal entity data. The sandbox data is designed to provide a representative sample of what can be expected in production to provide a valid test input for your apps.

You can Try Out our APIs and your user flow in our sandbox environment before implementing. Alternatively, you can call the sandbox APIs directly from Postman. Refer to the Getting Started page for a detailed guide on how to try out our APIs on Postman(or any other client)

We do not limit your usage time or the number of API calls to the test environment and we do our best to ensure it’s available around the clock.
